Why Heritage Cars

Bid on facts,
not forecourt talk.

Every listing puts the condition, the history and the full cost in front of you before the first bid.

  1. 01

A condition report on every lot

Graded 1 to 5 with photos of any damage. Each report states exactly what it is based on.

  2. 02

    History and MOT data

Official DVLA and DVSA MOT records on the listing. The HPI result is shown on the lot once the check completes.

  3. 03

    Every fee before you bid

A 5% buyer's premium (minimum £250) plus any VAT shown in the lot's price breakdown. The total is calculated as you type your bid.

  4. 04

    No last-second sniping

Any bid in the final 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes, so everyone gets a fair chance to respond.

  5. 05

    Your maximum stays private

Set the most you will pay and we bid for you one increment at a time, only as far as needed.

  6. 06

Pay by bank, after you win

No card details are taken. Your invoice is in your account the moment you win, and you pay by bank within 10 minutes.

How it works

Four steps to your next car.

Bidding explained
  1. Register free

Create an account in a minute. Private and trade buyers welcome.

  2. Read the lot

Photos, the condition report and its source, the check results, MOT data and the full cost at any price.

  3. Bid or set a maximum

Place a bid, or set the most you will pay and we bid for you one step at a time. A late bid moves the end to 2 minutes after it, so nobody is sniped.

  4. Win, pay, collect

Pay by bank against your invoice, then collect by appointment or have it delivered.

No surprises

What you see is what you pay.

The hammer price, plus a 5% buyer's premium (minimum £250) and any VAT shown in the lot's price breakdown. Delivery is quoted separately if you need it.
