Our prices
Why are our vehicles priced competitively?
Why pay retail when you can buy at auction? Discover competitively priced vehicles sourced through finance disposals, trade channels and fleet sales. Explore our online auctions and find out how our sourcing model works.
Quality vehicles without the dealership price tag
At Heritage Cars, we believe buying a quality vehicle should not always mean paying traditional dealership prices. Our auction platform offers access to vehicles acquired through alternative automotive supply channels, including finance repossessions, fleet disposals, part-exchanges and trade vehicle sales, where applicable. These vehicles can become available at prices below comparable retail dealership listings because of how they are sourced and sold.
Not every vehicle is sourced this way, and the final price is always set by bidding. Where we know how a vehicle was acquired, its lot page says so.
How can we offer vehicles at lower prices?
- 01
Vehicles acquired through finance repossessions
When a vehicle owner fails to meet their finance agreement, the finance provider may recover the vehicle and arrange its resale, often through trade and auction channels rather than a retail dealership.
- 02
Lower-cost vehicle acquisition
By sourcing through trade auctions, finance disposal channels and other professional suppliers, we may acquire stock below typical retail asking prices. Our auction model then lets us offer competitive starting prices.
- 03
An auction-based sales model
Instead of paying a fixed retail price, customers place bids, and the final price is set by the auction, subject to any reserve. See how it works.
- 04
Repossessed does not mean accident-damaged
Repossession relates to the recovery of a vehicle, usually after a breach of a finance agreement. It does not by itself mean the vehicle is damaged: a repossessed vehicle can have a clean insurance history, a valid MOT, a full service history and be in excellent condition. Each vehicle's history and condition should be considered separately.
Vehicle history and transparency
Depending on the information and documents available, a listing may include:
- registration, make, model, year and mileage
- MOT status and service history
- condition information and photographs
- insurance write-off category status, where checked
- finance and history check information
- known mechanical or cosmetic issues
- auction terms, buyer fees and payment requirements
Any checks completed are shown on the vehicle's listing. Read about our condition reports and fees before you bid.
Why buy through our auctions?
